This is the speed writing I did this week. Speed writing is where you have a story starter and you have 8 minutes to write as much as you can.
This is the story starter.

This is what I wrote:
She walked farther and farther into the misty forest. She walked and walked into the repeating forest. She lost more and more of her energy walking. Then she tripped on a root and fell. She decided to fall asleep where she lay, as she had not made any progress in her mind. But she was nearing the end. Morning came with no birds chirping in the forsaken forest. She glanced up at the cloudy sky, the clouds were so think they hid the sun’s location. It was impossible to tell how long she had slept. She licked her lips as they were as dry as a desert. She stood up with a groan. The mist had grown thicker. Then she heard a loud grumble from her stomach. She remembered her family at her house, They must be worried sick she thought. She stood up and walked on and on. Then she was a lump of something on the ground. She could tell that it was not roots or a pile of dirt. There was fur. She ran up hoping to find some food, but instead, she was met with a rotten corpse. Flies buzz around it and maggots in its guts. She felt like puking. If she ate it, she would die. If she didn’t eat it she would die.
